Upcoming Community Outreach Day -

Hi stitching friends,

We have an exciting opportunity to create a quilt to be raffled at The Music Hall in Portsmouth!

Little Feat is coming to town on Friday, October 2, for their farewell tour, which is a benefit concert and fundraiser for Cross Roads House. We will make a throw-sized quilt to raffle at the concert that night.

The design is a diagonal Drunkard's Path in batiks, featuring the phrase "FEAT DON’T FAIL ME NOW!" in a large groovy font, with a pumpkin spice minky backing. Karen Kenney has generously offered to longarm it.

Community Outreach Day will be held in the Levenson Room at the Portsmouth Library on Friday, September 4, from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Free parking is available in front and on the side of the building.

Please join the fun and help put this quilt together if you can! You can bring your own lunch or pick something up at a nearby restaurant. Please also bring drinks in covered bottles to prevent spills.
