This past Fall a good friend of mine gave me the fabric from his mother's stash, as she had recently passed away. This quilt is a tribute to my friends, Rich and Kate Heidt, and Rich's mother Cathy. There was a good deal of striped shirting fabric in the stash, and that inspired the design and the name of the quilt - Three Shirts to the Wind. Longarm quilting was
