Time to Renew Membership!
You can pay your 2026 dues with a check made out to SMQG P.O. Box 112 Exeter, NH 03833 or through the Seacoast Modern Quilt Guild Venmo account. The annual dues are $50 which includes access to the national Modern Quilt Guild site.
Sew-INs
The Guild is holding Sew-Ins on the third Sunday of every month at the Merrimac Police Station, 2 Jana Way, Merrimac, MA. It's a great way to have some companionship while you're cutting, sewing and, of course, seam-ripping. Hours 10-4.
QuiltCon Community Outreach challenge - design selected!
At the September 2025 meeting we voted on the design that we will use for our Outreach quilt to be submitted to QuiltCon. Susan Hadyniak was the winning designer with her take on Snails in a Storm.

This design is from Tula Pink's City Sampler: 100 Modern Quilt Blocks. A must have for any quilter's library.
Instructions:
Pick three fabrics.
From fabric 1 cut:
1 square - 1” x 1”
1 rectangle - 1.5” x 3”
From fabric 2 cut:
3 rectangles - 1” x 3”, 1” x 2” and 1.75” x 1.5”
From fabric 3 cut:
2.5” x 1.75”
3.5” finished (this means that when you are done it will be 4” before trimming). You can add a bindi
